The main way we collect personal information about you is when you give it to us directly, for example by subscribing to our newsletter or making a purchase or donation via our Website. However, if you do not wish to provide certain information requested by us this may limit our ability to engage with you and carry out our functions and activities.

We use your personal information to conduct our operations and activities in accordance with our Purpose.  We will generally disclose to you the reason for the collection of your information at the time of collection and this includes any reasonable ancillary purposes.

Where we use your personal information to send you marketing or educational information by post, email or telephone, we will provide you with an opportunity to opt-out of receiving such information. By electing not to opt-out, we will assume we have your implied consent to receive similar information and communications in the future. We will always ensure that our opt-out notices are clear, conspicuous and easy to take up.

How can you find out about your information and fix it if it is not correct?

What to do if you have a query or complaint

If you have a query or complaint about how we manage your personal information or would like to know more, please email us at contact@skipaustralia.org.  If you do make a complaint, we will let you know that your complaint has been received, provide you with our contact details and advise you when we can provide a response to your complaint.
